ANGELA DEVI KICKS IT ALL OFF

I was born in the center of it all -- New York City, but I am of east Indian
descent -- 100 percent -- New Delhi, India, to be exact.
I now live in Phoenix, Arizona where I have been for the past seventeen years. I
am currently studying Accounting with a minor in finance. My lifelong aspiration
is to become a corporate CPA and to have a loving family with two beautiful
children. As you can tell I love modeling as a hobby!
My greatest passion right now is exercising and nutrition. I think it is
important for the mind, body, and soul to connect. I believe it comes greatly
from exercise and nutrition, along with peace of mind as well. For that reason
I do not eat any red meat. I follow a high-protein, low carb diet with a good
portion of fruits and vegetables each day.
I am a very dedicated and loyal person. If I am with one person, I am
completely faithful and loyal to that person, treat them with the utmost
respect, and give them my undying love.
I guess the word that best describes me would have to be "outgoing". I am
full of life and love and love to be around people. When I want something,
I go out and get it. I am a go-getter. I think it's so important to get
out and work for something you want -- not to sit by and watch it pass you by.
My name 'Devi' is an east Indian name that means queen. When my mom was seven months
pregnant, my father and her went to the Taj Mahal, which is one of the seven
wonders of the world. She picked out my middle name, Devi, from the story of
how the Taj Mahal came to be.
There was once a king who loved his wife more than life itself. Besides running
his kingdom, the king devoted much of his life to pleasing her and making her happy.
But soon, the queen became very ill and shortly thereafter, she died.
The king was so lost and so hurt that his touchstone, the love of his life had
passed on, he decided to build a castle to honor her memory. So for twenty-two
years and by pure manual labor he built a castle on top of her grave. The castle
was made of pure marble and stone and all of the labor was done manually by
thousands of workers.
Twenty-two years later, this awesome structure was completed. There is said to
be a room underneath the Taj Mahal which is where the queen's body is kept,
along with all of her jewels. In this room, a king cobra is said to be guarding
the queen's body and the jewels, but has never been confirmed, for those who
venture down there probably have never returned!
