There are so many things that I want to do with my life. I’m fascinated with my present
study of law and I would like to get my CPA for accounting. I haven’t decided yet!
When I attended Florida Atlantic University I entered a beauty pageant, Miss Asia America.
I won a five thousand dollar scholarship and a Bob Mackie gown. Upon winning, I decided
to get some headshots of myself and I was referred to a photographer who suggested
that I do a portfolio.
I started shooting fashion and bikinis shots. I fell in the beauty pageants and modeling
just to put myself through college. I used to enter the Miss Hawaiian Tropic Contest circuits
to win money for school. Plus, I worked as a hostess at a sushi bar in Boca called Fuji and
I did debt consolidation for a company called Kimberly Credit Counseling. I dealt with creditors
and clients at Kimberly Credit.
It was a credit counseling company who helped people pay
off their debts to save their credit or fix their credit. These are the jobs I had to put
myself through college. The rest is history.
Although I’ve been living in the states since I was 3 years old, I’ve been back with my mom
twice since they lifted the embargo against my homeland. It’s truly a beautiful country and
I would suggest anyone who loves a warm climate and beautiful people to take a vacation
there. Vietnam is rich in many things but to Vietnamese people you’re only rich if you own
land. It’s great having a background from both cultures.
