SARA WALKER KICKS IT ALL OFF
 
Hello, I call Vegas home.The women in my family are the greatest role models
I've had the privilege of knowing. My Mom is my Hero - endurance and self-preservation;
my Grandma is a Rock- she came out of the shadows and was determined to be
self-sufficient; and my Aunt is the embodiment of perseverance- she lived
through a stroke and now is on her way to her greatest accomplishment -
Dance her way to Heaven. All of them are "Wonder Women".
About five years ago when I started working in Vegas, I
was asked to have some photos taken for a Playboy-style website. From that point on,
I would do occasional shoots for Vegas promotional interests.
Then, I went to Laguna Seca in Monterey, California, in 2000, to watch the AMA Superbike
and World Superbike races. It was my first experience of motorcycle racing in
such a large scale. I had photographers taking pictures of me, race fans taking pictures
of me, and suddenly I became a "celebrity". I was given business cards and phone
numbers and asked to schedule shoots and interviews. That's when it dawned on me -
"I think I can do something with this".
